

Documentary filmmaker and executive producer Mark Herzog first started working in television and commercial production in Chicago. His work there included, She's Having A Baby, Vice Versa, Everybody's All-American, and over 50 commercials.
In Los Angeles, Herzog began his long association with producing partner, Mark Cowen, at The Berkeley Group. He headed the marketing division, producing television specials and behind-the-scenes programming for feature films, including, Addams Family Values,The Firm, Searching for Bobby Fischer, The Sandlot, Timecop, and Apollo 13.
Later, Herzog formed his own marketing company, Herzog Productions, where he continued producing behind-the-scenes programming for feature films, and branched even further into DVD bonus feature production, feature film web design, and documentary television production.
He reunited with Mark Cowen to collaborate on the Emmy-nominated We Stand Alone Together: The Men of Easy Company, the companion documentary to HBO's critically acclaimed Band of Brothers. Together, they launched Herzog Cowen Entertainment, a dynamic and expanding production company that creates exclusive behind-the-scenes content, original television programming, long and short-form documentaries, and entertainment web sites. Their impressive roster of projects includes Black Hawk Down, Master and Commander,The Polar Express, The Bourne Supremacy, The Grinch, A Beautiful Mind, Anchorman,Pirates of the Caribbean, Ocean's Eleven, Ocean's Twelve, the Oscar-nominated film Ray, and the one-hour behind-the-scenes Emmy-nominated special, The Last Laugh, honoring the CBS hit series Everybody Loves Raymond.
Continually raising the bar for documentary film production, Herzog executive-produced, along with Tom Hanks and The Playtone Company, the groundbreaking Magnificent Desolation: Walking on the Moon 3D, an IMAX immersive documentary film experience about the twelve men who walked on the moon.
With expansion in mind, Herzog exceeds the boundaries of innovative and creative approaches to producing documentaries and marketing films, while forging ahead with new film technologies, and the flourishing world of DVD and television production.
